Continuing Education Credit
The Florida Dental Association Project: Dentist Care will offer Continuing Education Credit for volunteers providing free dental treatment for low-income, uninsured patients within the State of Florida.
Recently, the FDA was approached to change the amount of credits earned while volunteering. Now, if you are volunteering for the Volunteer Health Care Provider Program you will receive one credit for each hour you volunteer up to seven hours for each license renewal. You must donate services to individuals who have financially qualified for the program through the Dental Care Access Foundation, Inc.
